Biography

Jose Fernández-Ark (Murcia, Spain) is a professional filmmaker and photographer specializing in cinematic artistic portraiture. He graduated in Audiovisual Communication in Murcia in 2016. In 2017, he completed a master's degree in film direction at ESCAC (Superior School of Cinema and Audiovisuals of Catalonia), where he was selected by ESCAC FILMS among the best students of his class and awarded with the production and subsequent distribution of "Los Bermejo", his latest short film. This production was among the 100 preselected short films for the 2018 Goya Awards.

Months later he discovered photography while working on various productions for Netflix, Filmax or Media Pro as a still photographer and assistant, handling all promotional and marketing photography. His first artistic session with models was in March 2021. His distinctive cinematic look and marked style that so reminds us of cinema comes from the strong and evident influence of having worked on countless film projects, surrounding himself with great industry professionals, and having always been a true lover of cinema and art in all its forms.
